La grande Messa in do minore K. 427 – si legge nella presentazione – è uno dei massimi capolavori sacri di Mozart, una partitura in cui è felicemente manifesto il profondo studio dei modelli di Bach e di Haendel da parte del genio di Salisburgo, in una sintesi personalissima. Alla Messa è affiancato un prezioso Offertorio, Misericordias Domini K. 222, che riserverà a tutti il piacere di una scoperta. Qualcosa che ha a che fare con l’ultimo appuntamento della Stagione, quello consacrato alla Nona Sinfonia di Beethoven”.
